Column Boom Welding Manipulators

The Weldsub series are column and boom welding manipulators made on demand for each type of welding process – MIG/TIG/Plasma/submerged arc. On the robust frame all the movements are on machined guides and balls bearing skids to assure hi precision and a long time life. The column has the possibility to rotate for all 360° in manual. To set the unit in position there are four clamping screws on the base. The boom lift mechanism, is also equipped with an antifall device by a preloaded spring, pushing a cog into a milled tooth for the entire column length. The boom movement (and the base movement for slide version) is made by an inverter controlled 3-phase motor, for an adjustable speed range of 150-2500 mm/min. The electric box is mounted on the column, and it contains the controls of the machine. These controls are present also near the welding head. Weldsub Floor is the fixed base series.
