Makino Asia Pte Ltd manufactures vertical machining centre with automatic tool changer. The machine is carefully designed to isolate the heat generated from the control cabinet and spindle temperature controller. The automatic tool changer is positioned close to the spindle to facilitate fast and reliable tool changes. The nominal time to complete the tool change sequence is 2 seconds. The ATC magazine is capable of handling loads up to 7kg each for all pots. The magazine is driven by a digital servomotor for quick positioning and reliability. The double-gripper arm is indexed by a cam mechanism to perform tool change efficiently and reliably. The machine is provided with work light (fluorescent) to improve the brightness and visibility of the work area.
