CNC drilling and tapping centre - DT 40

Bangalore-based HMT's new CNC drilling and tapping centre - DT 40 is a compact CNC vertical drilling and tapping machine with power, speed and accuracy to increase productivity.The machine is flexible and fast and is designed for high performance. The machine is capable of milling as well as profiling. Arm-less type, 12-pocket auto tool changer is driven electromechanically. The table size is 650 mm x 400 mm and cutting feed rate is 1 to 5000 mm/min. Its maximum drilling capacity in steel (with U drill) is 25 mm (diameter). The tool change time: tool-to-tool/chip-to-chip is 4/8 sec. The product has two linear axes of motion with a compound slide unit and the third axis under vertical spindle unit. All the axes are provided with anti-friction LM guides. The machine bed, column and slides are of high-grade cast iron rigid structure, providing long life and good vibration damping. This product is ideal for drilling and tapping of auto/electrical/aluminium parts, and models and dies.
