KMB offers a self-feed drill head. The housing is made of SG iron, hardened and ground. The spindle is assembled in a quill and guided in between precision bearings. A separate motor is provided to drive the spindle through the timing belt. Applications include drilling, multi-spindle drilling, tapping, reaming, spot facing, counter sinking, and counter boring to build special purpose machines, etc.
