High-speed cutting has evolved into one of the major trends in this new millennium. The new series includes the HSC 20 linear with 200 x 200 x 280 mm traverses for smaller workpieces. The HSC 55 linear is ultra precise not only when high-speed milling hardened steel, but also especially designed for graphite machining. The HSC 75 linear and HSC 105 linear, two vertical precision centres for lager workpieces up to 1,800 kg, complete the HSC series. All machines of the HSC-series of DMG follow the sturdy bridge-type design, forming the perfect basis for ultra-fast movement sequences, the consequent implementation of high-end German spindle-drives with large HSK-tapers and high rotational speeds as standard, direct drives in all linear and round axes for maximised dynamics and optimal precision, as well as CNC controls of highest performance with comfortable 3D functionality.
