Calcutta-based Amar Foundry manufactures heavy-duty precision planers with well-ribbed shell-type construction of bed that has sufficient rigidity against heavy and accurate cutting operations. Its heavy work piece slide ways for the table has ample area to withstand heavy load and possible wear. It is provided with oil grooves so as to receive perfect lubrication to stand against heavy-load to maintain the accuracy of the machine. The left hand and right hand columns are connected with a top beam at the top of both columns.
