Cnc-Controlled Saw

The ModeI C-410O CNC uses aFanuc/Cimplicity flatpanel touch screen that prompts the user as sawing jobs are entered. 'ne controller then takes over the operation of the saw by setting the optimum blade speed and feed rate. It adjusts the saw by comparing the information entered to its sawing data base which has information on more than 100 different categories of metals and alloys. Besides sawing settings, the controller handles indexing, saw guide arm a,-id vice jaw positioning and even provides a program for the automatic break-in of new blades. The saw has a round cutting capacity of 410 mm and a rectangular capacity of 356 mm high by 410 mm wide. It uses a 41 mm blade driven by an independent 7.5 kW band drive motor.
