Dc Motor Drives

Instrumental Electronics offers DC motor drives, Series DCD 8000. These are thyristorised, analogue DC motor drives suitable for DC motors above 5 HP rating. These are incorporated with standard features such as soft start, isolated field supply, trips and alarms for under/over voltage, average over current, instantaneous over current, field failure, negative phase sequence, along with the option of armature or tacho feedback, and work in constant torque mode. Variable speed is achieved either through a potentiometer or through process signal. Power supply requirement is 3-phase/415 V AC.
