Boring Machines, Horizontal

Jagdeep Foundry offers an all-geared horizontal boring machine that is best suited for rough and finishing operations within the range of boring, drilling, facing and milling. Various mechanisms are enclosed, all external surfaces are smooth and provision for lubrication is provided throughout. The design of the machine itself is a guarantee for stiffness, precision accuracy and maximum output. Operation controls are easily accessible. The castings are of rigid construction, made with the addition of steel and other alloys to achieve the desired strength. All the required parts are duly stress relieved by way of heat treatment, after rough machining to control distortion at a later stage. The machine is built to equivalent of Grade-I standard. Main bed column and stay support columns are flat and are provided with adjustable taper gibs to adjust the clearance and alignment. Rapid movement and feed are provided. Main bed and pillars are ground and accurately finished with grinding machine. All gears are precision cut to ensure smooth and silent running. Headstock and boring stay support both the travels simultaneously. The machine is manufactured according to Dr. Schlesinger's acceptance test chart. Longitudinal and cross table traverse vertical travel of headstock and boring stay support are provided with rapid movements as well as feeds.
