Filter Housing

Flow Control Industries offers stainless steel cartridge housings. These are designed and manufactured for use in the clarification or final filtration of liquids or gases through cartridge filters. The housings are designed to ASME code standards, all welds are ground flush, and the entire housing is polished to a high-quality sanitary finish. The housings have a removable cartridge manifold to allow for complete disassembly of the downstream side, and ease of cleaning of all fluid contact surfaces. The housings are in-line, steam-sterilisable and hot-water or chemically sanitisable, for ultra cleaning or sterilizing large volumes of liquids or gases at high flow rates by pressure filtration through as many as 12 cartridge filters acting in parallel to provide a very large total filter area. The multi tube assembly consists of a bell housing in which the cartridge filters are supported on a common outlet manifold, available with maximum capacities of 12 cartridges. Inlet and outlet connections are made to elbows under the base plate, allowing cartridge replacement without disconnecting attached plumbing. Multi candle housing can be sterilised with cartridges in place using ethylene oxide gas, or hot water sanitised. They can also be in-line steam sterilised. Materials of construction can be SS 304 or SS 316. End connections are normally tri-clamped fittings.
