Automatic Back Wash Filters

Filter Sep Technologies offers Automatic Back Wash Filters. The automatic filters are in shape of simplex basket filters having off-set or in-line end connections. The combination of solid & hollow back wash arm is coupled to geared motor at one end and to back wash drain nozzle at the other end. The automation logic of these filters is mainly based on set differential pressure. When the ?p reaches the set point the cleaning cycle is initiated. The geared motor rotates the back wash arm & simultaneously the motorized drain valve opens to atmosphere. 

The retained particles on inside surface of element (wedge wire or wire mesh type) are back washed through back wash arm & are drained out. The opening & closing of motorized drain valve is synchronized with geared motor operation. The back wash cycle time can be set from 10 sec. To 30 minutes. Factory settings are 10 sec. To 30 sec. Timer based automation logic is also additionally incorporated in electrical control panel which operates in case of d.p. switch failure. Degree of filtration offered is down upto 100 micron.
