VAAS Industries a range of bi-directional valves designed to handle difficult media such as abrasive slurries. Series 980 bonneted knife gate valves meet the design parameters of Fig 950 knife gate valves but have an enclosed bolted bonnet. These valves are made to request and are generally specified where the valve is used in buried or submerged services, or when extreme gland tightness is desired. Applications include high temperature or toxic gas applications in steel/tyre industry, sewage disposal lines etc.
