Non Clog Slurry Pumps

Flowchem Engineering offers Non Clog Slurry Pumps, Series NCS. Different designs of impeller can be adopted for less critical slurries ie, multi vane type semi open or closed impeller with wide flow passages can be used. All impellers are provided with back vanes to minimise axial thrust and stuffing box pressures, thereby reducing gland leakage and wear on shaft sleeve due to abrasive slurries. In addition, the selection of material of construction over a wide range permits pumps to operate under adverse critical conditions encountered due to handling of abrasive slurries containing debris. The flow passages are generously sized, ie, the hydraulic passage of both impeller and volute are freely accessible by hand for cleaning.
