MAGNETIC DRIVE CHEMICAL PUMPS, FLAME PROOF

Taha Pumps & Valves offer a new PMD series, seal-less Magnetic Drive Chemical Pumps with flame-proof electric motors that are suitable to use in hazardous industrial environment in different industry. The PMD series Magnetic Drive Chemical Pumps contains pump casing, cover and impeller of GF poly propylene as standard material of construction and PVDF as optional, impeller shaft and thrust washer of high alumina ceramic, bushes of glass filled PTFE or carbon filled PTFE, etc. These are ideal pumps to handle corrosive chemicals, acids, dyes, solvents, petrol, kerosene, etc. These pumps feature magnetic drive system with high power rare earth magnets, which eliminates the use of conventional sealing method. Thus makes the pumps 100% leak proof and avoids all the troubles of leakage, shaft wear and replacement and saves on maintenance down time. The motor used is 415 V, 2900 RPM, TEFC, flame proof, of reputed make, conforming to IS: 2148-1981 specification for gas groups I, IIA, IIB, IIC. Typical applications: in industries such as chemical, pharmaceuticals, dyeing and printing, electroplating, photo processing, solvent extractions, etc. The pumps are available in capacity of 85 and 125 LPM having max head of 8 m and 12 m respectively. Other models without flameproof motors are available in range of 15, 30 and 50 LPM.
