Worm gear speed reducer

Amar Engineers manufactures gearboxes in NU-type (horizontal) and NUV-type (vertical) mounting. The products are available in size from 1.125" to 12.00" centre and with nominal ratios from 5:1 to 70:1. Worm threads are accurately generated and super finished. Bearing journals and shaft extensions are ground to fine limits, whilst oil seal tracks are ground and super finished. Worm wheel comprises of high quality phosphor bronze PB2 cast. The hobbing process, complying with standard finishing techniques, generates worm wheel teeth. Standard gearboxes have right hand threads. Applications are in paper industry, cement industry, plastic processing, sugar industry, rolling mills, oil industry, wire winding machine, food industry, crushers, chemical and dyes plant and textile industry.
